Just spent an hour checking the lefty blogs. They're feeling pretty optimistic about their boy's chances, and they should. Two major differences come to mind when I compare right-wing blogs to left-wing blogs.
Difference 1: left-wingers emote their positions, right-wingers explain theirs logically.
Difference 2: left-wingers organize, organize, organize, and organize some more, right-wingers talk about organizing, and then sort of organize.
Right now, the lefty blogs are almost completely concentrating on getting out the vote.
The right-wing blogs are still talking polls, policy and current events, even as Rome's about to burn. BlahBlahBlah...
Which single characteristic is most important in guaranteeing that your side garners the most votes on election day?
In the end, which of the above characteristics will have been most helpful in facilitating Kerry's victory? Which of the above ones could have been instrumental in clinching it for Bush?
If you guessed "organize, organize, organize and organize some more", you're correct.
The left is always better at "taking to the streets." And this election will prove that to be an enormous advantage .
I'm still sticking with my prediction that John "The Fraudulent Traitor" Kerry will win. (But I've still purchased a bottle of champagne and a nice cigar in case he doesn't.)
