In attendance were approximately 300 people, which for Providence, is a pretty good turnout for such events. The crowd was the usual motley collection of naive college students, 60s-era nostalgics, rebels in search of a cause, rich liberals and frustrated impotent life-long leftist radicals.
Initially, I had figured on writing a serious telling of the protest, but what I saw yesterday was so trite, so pathetic and so uninspired that I've decided to opt for humor instead. Below are some pictures of the rag-tag losers who made, at best, a half-assed effort at getting their suicidal message out to their beloved "masses."
I have a sneaking suspicion that hanging around those people dumbs you down--after spending a day with them it took two quick beers and a shot of Jack Daniels to flush their boring, mind-numbing crap from my brain.
